The author
Louise Parry is a former preschool teacher from Scotland, now living in America with her husband, two sons, and her two beloved cocker spaniels.
With a passion for storytelling and a deep love for children, animals, and nature, she felt inspired to write books based on her many outdoor adventures in her airstream. (yes! Archie is real!).
Louise's books teach children the value of friendship, courage, and of course cherishing and protecting our planet with a sprinkle of magic along the way, where imagination knows no bounds and how the power of love can change lives.
My childhood memories
My love for travel trailers and nature started young when my parents would take me on camping trips. Even back then I dreamed of having my own big shiny trailer.
About the book
Archie is an airstream, but no ordinary one. He's shy but courageous, always looking for the next big adventure, and Archie has something special!
A superpower no other airstream had.
My book series, Archie the Airstream, follows him on his quest to find the old master, Wally, the wise one who had gifted him with magical powers when he was born. He had many questions for Wally. Along the way, he meets many animals that need his help. Can he use his superpowers to help his friends?

Chemo time
Unfortunately, just before my first book in the series was about to go live, I was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer called inflammatory breast cancer. This invasive cancer does not present as a lump or bump; therefore, it's hard to detect on a mammogram. By the time of diagnosis, it has usually already spread to stage III, or in my case, stage IV.
However, cancer will not stop me! Once I have completed my chemotherapy, surgeries, and radiation therapy, I plan to hit the road again, visiting as many States as possible and reading my books to as many children as time allows. My mission is to spread awareness, educate on inflammatory breast cancer, and donate part of the proceeds of my books to IBC research.
